The Voice of Cycling painted live at Creative Soul Prints on 23rd of January 2026, where history was made with the first ever start of the Santos Tour Down Under in Henley Beach for Ziptrak® Men's Stage 3: Henley Beach to Nairne.
The subject, Phil Liggett, an English cycling commentator, journalist, and former amateur cyclist.
He currently commentates on the Tour de France and the Tour Down Under. At 82, he shows no signs of slowing down—remaining an active rider and retaining the same passion for cycling, both behind the microphone and on the bike. This piece honours a man whose lifelong dedication has earned him global recognition as the “voice of cycling.”
