The work already featured stripes, and the overlay of natural light created a moment where it became difficult to distinguish what was painted and what was projected.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"710\"\u003eI was drawn to that sense of ambiguity. \u003cem data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"573\"\u003eLost in the Light\u003c\/em\u003e explores this idea, inviting the viewer to question what is natural skin tone and what is shadow, creating an almost camouflaged effect.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"949\"\u003eThe piece is built through expressive mark-making, which is central to my practice.
